Help using this site

Go to 'my blog' in the top bar and click 'add a post' on the right hand side.  It doesn't get any simpler than that.

If you'd like some inspiration on what would make a good blog, then here are some choice tips that we've found:

http://www.bloggingsundance.com/category/documentary/ - a good blog, by people who love docs. Sounds like us really.

http://tenfootfilms.blogspot.com/ - Sean McAllister's blog (director of Liberace of Baghdad).

http://www.marcsinger.info/main.html - this is Marc Singer's (director of Dark Days) website, complete with with blog.

http://riverbendblog.blogspot.com/ - nothing to do with documentary, but probably THE most famous blog on the web, from a woman living in Iraq. It's now being published as a book.

  1. When adding a post to your blog - click the 'add file' button.
  2. Click add/update
  3. Click browse to upload an image
  4. Click save
  5. At the point in your post you want the image to appear, type the words [ImageAttachment]  in square brackets into the text, just like here.

To edit your profile, click the 'Edit Profile' link in the top right hand corner of your screen.  You can edit each of the options by clicking the tabs.
